Today’s class is a continuation of the Boston Tea Party lesson. The class will discuss the importance of music and stories and their ability to show a piece of history that textbooks cannot. We will think about music today and discuss certain songs that could be taught to people in 100 years from now to show a little piece of early 21 century culture.

The class will listen to a colonial song “Revolutionary Tea” about the Boston Tea Party. We will analyze this song and find it’s deeper meaning.

Homework: Finish the Boston Tea Party handout. Write all answers in complete sentences on a separate sheet of paper, or on the back of the handout.
